Affiliate attribution for peptide brands: what to track

Many peptide brands grow through affiliates rather than paid ads. That keeps acquisition costs predictable, but it makes the numbers harder to read. Orders arrive from dozens of codes and links, payouts follow different tiers, and deals start and end on different dates.

Tie every order to an affiliate, and to the terms in force

A click count is not enough. Each paid order should carry the affiliate who sent it and the payout tier that applied on the day of the sale. If a tier changes next month, last month’s orders should still pay the old rate.

Watch the deal window

Many affiliate deals pay for a fixed period, often a few months. When the window closes, new orders should stop counting toward that payout. Track the end dates and review them before they pass, so you can renew good partners on purpose rather than by accident.

Count what each order really costs

Payment processor fees move. A fee that rises from 8% to 12% changes the margin on every order, and on every affiliate’s value to you. Net revenue per affiliate, after fees and payouts, is the number worth deciding on.

Make payouts routine

Approve payouts on a schedule, send each affiliate a clear notice, and keep the history. When all of this lives in one system, the monthly scramble becomes a ten-minute review.
